The “Sunny Place.”
Alongside the beautiful foothills of the “American Riviera,” Eucalyptus Hill remains one of the few places in the world where coastal mountains face in a geographically exceptional southern direction. This geographic position was a large part in the narrative of Santa Barbara being a “heaven on earth.” The area lies between the prominent Montecito Peak at 3,214 feet and the natural sea lagoon of the Andree Clark Bird Refuge.
