Hahn Hall

The renowned New York Philharmonic String Quartet returns to the Music Academy, bringing its signature precision, passion, and power to Hahn Hall for an unforgettable evening of masterworks. Featuring Music Academy alum and teaching artist violist Cynthia Phelps, alum violinist Frank Huang, violinist Qianqian Li, and cellist Carter Brey, don’t miss this rare opportunity to experience the artistry of one of the world’s premier string quartets in an intimate setting.

You’ll enjoy wine tastings at three local wineries, lunch in the Santa Ynez Valley, door-to-door shuttle service, and a knowledgeable guide for the day. Your guide will discuss local history and insights into the region. The winery staff will share information about varietals and blends and what makes their wines unique.

Back by popular demand, Disclosure returns for a two-night April takeover, bringing their signature blend of house, garage, and uplifting live energy back to the Santa Barbara Bowl. Night one features an electrifying opening set from JADALAREIGN, known for her genre-blurring, high-voltage mixes. Night two keeps the momentum going with legendary house innovator Todd Edwards, delivering his iconic chopped-vocal style. Two nights, two distinct vibes, and plenty of room to dance under the Santa Barbara sky.

The Arlington Theatre

Ralph Barbosa brings his laid‑back observational comedy to the historic Arlington Theatre as part of his Red 40 Tour. Known for his disarming stage presence and sharp humor, Barbosa has been recognized as one of Variety’s “10 Comics to Watch” and continues to delight audiences with his specials and live performances across North America. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., giving guests time to settle into the iconic venue before an evening of stand‑up, laughs, and festival‑week energy.

Santa Barbara Public Library

La Piazza, a new Italian music and food festival, arrives April 10–12, 2026, bringing the spirit of Italy to the Faulkner Gallery, Towbes Plaza at the Santa Barbara Public Library, and select locations throughout Santa Barbara. This free, three-day celebration highlights Italy’s rich musical heritage, vibrant culinary traditions, and the sense of community that binds it all together.

The festival opens Friday afternoon with Amore Italiano: Rome, Cinema, and the Music of the Heart, a sweeping concert at the Faulkner Gallery featuring pianists Jacopo Giacopuzzi and Alvise Pascucci, violinist Camille Miller, and flutist Tommaso Benciolini.

Alta Vista Tours

Escape the city lights and discover Santa Barbara’s night sky on a guided stargazing experience led by UCSB PhD students. Guests meet in downtown Santa Barbara and travel together to a nearby dark-sky location, where a high-powered telescope reveals planets, star clusters, and distant galaxies. Along the way, your guide shares the stories and science behind the cosmos. Small groups enjoy about 90 minutes under the stars, with complimentary hot drinks to keep warm. Far from the glow of the city, guests experience the quiet awe of seeing the universe come into focus above them.

Center Stage Theater

Stephen Sondheim and John Weidman’s Tony-winning Assassins delves into the dark side of the American dream, exploring the lives of nine men and women who killed — or attempted to kill — U.S. presidents. From John Wilkes Booth to Lee Harvey Oswald, their stories intersect in unexpected ways, creating a powerful and unnerving look at some of the most shocking moments in American history.

Showtimes are Friday and Saturday at 7:30 PM, and Sunday at 2:00 PM.

Lion's Tale

Don’t let the Monday blues get you down! Lion’s Tale, a Good Lion Hospitality owned bar, is going to be hosting Vinyl Vices partnering with Proper Productions every Monday from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Along with this, there will be All Day Happy Hour, so take your time and get down to these old-school classics and modern R&B mixes. Featured menu items include Pimm’s Cup ($11), with Pimm’s, London Dry gin, cucumber, ginger, lemon and a touch of absinthe, or dig into fan favorites like the Café Frites ($14) with shoestring fries served with café de Paris butter sauce, fresh parsley and filet mignon bites.

Santa Barbara Historical Museum

Step into an afternoon celebrating the acclaimed wines of the Sta. Rita Hills as winemakers and owners pour newly released Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs alongside vibrant sparkling wines and distinctive Rhône varieties, all shaped by the region’s famous “refrigerated sunlight” climate. Guests can explore tastings from more than 20 wineries while enjoying wood-fired cuisine and curated bites from local purveyors, educational moments with industry experts, and live flamenco set against the historic charm of Casa Covarrubias.

“Your Beach Town Fair” comes to life at the 2026 Santa Barbara Fair & Expo, where family fun takes center stage with over thirty thrilling carnival rides, a separate kiddie area, and games for the little ones. Alameda Park

Explore two days dedicated to stepping into climate leadership. Join in on conversations with climate leaders, get into the groove with musical performances and art contests, build community and connect with eco-minded exhibitors, and learn how to lean into climate action.

This festival is the longest-running and most consistently held public Earth Day celebration in the U.S. and is thought to be one of the largest on the West Coast. The festival will feature sustainable, local foods, a beer and wine garden, and over 200 eco-conscious exhibitors. 

Rancho Tajiguas Preserve

EPIC Impact Society, a Santa Barbara–based nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing creative leadership, social innovation, and experiential learning, announced details for the 2026 EPIC International Summit, taking place at the iconic Rancho Tajiguas Preserve along Santa Barbara’s Gaviota Coast.

Now in its sixth year, the EPIC International Summit convenes an intimate, invitation-driven gathering of global leaders, creatives, educators, entrepreneurs, and changemakers for three days of immersive programming designed to spark ingenuity, foster collaboration, and cultivate innovative solutions to complex challenges. The 2026 Summit theme, “Collective Exploration,” reflects EPIC’s commitment to cross-disciplinary dialogue and shared discovery in an increasingly complex world.

The evening begins at the Santa Barbara Historical Museum, where guests pick up a commemorative wine glass before setting out through a curated selection of downtown venues offering premier wine tastings, gourmet bites, and live art in action. As the night unfolds, the celebration flows back to the Museum courtyard for an open-air finale with more food and wine, craft beer and spirit tastings, a silent auction, and music that keeps the party going under the stars. Proceeds support Downtown Santa Barbara initiatives including beautification projects, art programs, maintenance efforts, and community activation throughout the district.
