Celebrate Earth Day at Paseo Nuevo at our first annual Paseo for the Planet!

NATIVE PLANT SALE

Where: California Nature Art Museum 

Celebrate Native Plant Appreciation Month with native plants, coffee, and used books. SANTA BARBARA KITE FESTIVAL

When: April 21, 2024 at 11:00 AM- 4:00 PM .
Where: Santa Barbara City College 

The 38th Santa Barbara Kite Festival will fly again in the “Great Meadow” on the west campus of Santa Barbara City College. The meadow overlooks Santa Barbara’s Harbor and breakwater and is graced by ocean breezes and light winds -perfect for kite flying all day long. This family friendly festival welcomes kite fliers of all ages and abilities – from first time sky sailors to experienced frequent fliers. Come and fly, or just watch the fun in the sun with everyone. Admission is free. There is plenty of parking both on campus and nearby. Kites of all types, as well as food and beverages, can be purchased at the festival.
