The Santa Barbara Jewish Film Festival will bring the community together to experience the power of exceptional films from around the world on themes of Jewish culture and identity.
 
Enjoy five days of world-class international and independent comedies, dramas, documentaries, and shorts from Israel, Europe, Canada, and the U.S. premiering for the first time in Santa Barbara.


Purchase a single ticket on-site before the film or get the All Access Passes which offers premiere access to programs including Q&As with filmmakers and thought leaders, a special live performances, an invitation to the opening night reception, early access seating, delicious concessions, and more.

FREE FAMILY DAY: DÍA DE LOS MUERTOS

For the 36th year, the Santa Barbara Museum of Art honors the Mexican tradition of remembering the dead with a vibrant display of altars created by students from the Museum’s school and outreach programs, as well as local community groups. Día de los Muertos-inspired art activities for all ages will be offered in the Art Learning Lab.


This two-week celebration includes free art activities and altars on display in the Park Lobby and Art Learning Lab, with additional altars exhibited in the galleries (general Museum admission required). General admission is free for SBMA members and Santa Barbara County students and teachers, with standard Museum admission fees applying to non-members.

HAUNTED BALL

Step into a world of celestial intrigue at Sunstone’s Haunted Ball: Angels & Demons. As twilight falls, guests are invited to indulge in an evening of masks, mischief, and duality under the harvest moon, with tantalizing bites and wood-fired delights, flowing Sunstone wine, and sparkling libations.

FARMERS MARKET FOODIE STROLL & GOURMET DINNER WITH BOUCHON CHEF


When: November 1, 2025 at 3 P.M to 7 P.M

Join Chef Vicken Tavitian of bouchon Santa Barbara at the Tuesday afternoon Santa Barbara Certified Farmers Market for an informative “Foodie Stroll” followed by dinner at bouchon. Participants rendezvous with Chef at the market, select ingredients, meet the farmers and enjoy food conversations with Chef.

At the conclusion of the tour, guests retire to bouchon for a three-course menu paired with local wines. Relax and enjoy an evening of Wine Country Cuisine on the American Riviera. Reservations required. Price includes market tour, dinner and wine. Additional tax and gratuity may apply.

The 5th Annual Día de los Muertos Market & Craft Day, presented by Mujeres Makers Market and SBTHP, is right around the corner! Celebrate and honor those who have passed with a magical day of vendors, workshops, live performances, free arts and crafts, and more. Attendees are invited to bring a photo or memento to contribute to the community altar.


While waiting for the event, you can add to the digital altar to have loved ones featured—submissions are due by October 29. This vibrant celebration of life promises a day full of remembrance, creativity, and connection.
