Alice Keck Park Memorial Garden

Join gardeners of all experience levels for a day of caring for the “Crown Jewel” of Santa Barbara, Alice Keck Park Memorial Garden. Parks staff will provide instruction in proper pruning, mulching, deadheading, and weeding techniques. Volunteers will grow in their horticultural knowledge and skills while spending a day serving their community and giving a boost to this beloved park.

Marcia Burtt Gallery

Celebrate the holidays and welcome a new year with Marcia Burtt Gallery’s holiday exhibition. Their gallery artists display their distinct approaches to realism and abstraction in landscape vistas, floral still lifed and arboreal studies. They transform the ephemeral into perennially engaging paintings and photographs of our natural world.

La Paloma Cafe

La Paloma Café is excited to bring you Mezcal Mondays! Open to the public, for $35 you’ll receive four 1oz Mezcal tastings and experience a tasting guided by La Paloma’s Mezcal expert Jorge Báez. Jorge will share stories and techniques behind a hand-picked selection of rotating complex Mezcals that will have you hooked.

Mission Rose Garden

A January tradition for almost 40 years, volunteers are invited to spend the morning at the A. C. Postel Memorial Rose Garden, within Mission Historical Park, to prune the approximately 1-acre garden in preparation for spring growth. 

Volunteers are asked to bring their own gloves and tools, including hand pruners, loppers, and small handsaws.
